Blair Edward Jones, 68, of Waterloo, Iowa, passed away on May 17, 2026, in Waterloo.

Blair was born on October 10, 1957, in Waterloo, Iowa. He was preceded in death by his mother, Irene O. Jones (Powell); his father, Clinton E. Jones; his brothers, Gary McDowell, Rick McDowell, and Rollie Jones; his sister, Patricia Reed; and his granddaughter, Jordyn Alexander.

He is survived by his wife, Marjorie (Dinnebier) Jones (separated); his brothers, Earl McDowell, Kim Jones, and Ricky Jones; his sisters, Andrea McDowell and Deborah Carter; his children, Darcon Jones Sr., Danielle Jones, Audja Jones, and Aviance Jordan; many grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and other family members and friends.

Blair enjoyed western movies, fishing, and starting his day with a hot cup of coffee. He was known for his sense of humor and enjoyed making people laugh.

A memorial service and burial will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. at Garden of Memories, 3669 Logan Avenue, Waterloo, Iowa 50703. Family and friends are invited to attend.
