Carol Lee Stevens

Carol Lee Stevens was born on August 31, 1935, Iowa the daughter of Lester and Delight (Hahn) Dahlstrom. During her professional career Carol served as certified nurse’s assistant for over 30 years at Allen Hospital. Carol loved many things in her life, but nothing compared to the love she showed her grandchildren. When she wasn’t showering love on her grandchildren she enjoyed puzzles, crocheting and spending time with family. She was lovingly known as gram to all those who knew and loved her.

Carol passed away on Friday June 27, 2025, at the age of 89 at Unity Point Hospital in Waterloo, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her parents; her children Bob Stevens and Kim Stevens; and her brother Keith Dahlstrom.

Carol is survived by her children Daniel Stevens of Waterloo, Iowa, Wayne (Janie ) Stevens of Oelwein, Iowa, Karen (Scott) Floyd of Maryland, Colleen (Dwayne) Reisner of Waterloo, Connie (Keith) Wedeking of Cedar Falls, Iowa, and Alan (Heidi) Stevens of Waterloo; her brothers Dennis Dahlstrom of Waverly, Iowa, Kenny Dahlstrom of Plainfield, Iowa; her sister Margie Dahlstrom of Cedar Falls, Iowa; her 13 grandkids; her numerous great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be directed to the family.

Visitation: Thursday, July 3, 2025, from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Parrott and Wood Chapel of Memories, 965, Home Plaza, Waterloo.

A private family burial will be held at a later date.
