George Allison Westcott

George Allison Westcott was born April 30, 1944, in Livermore, California, son of Allison and Lois (Rash) Westcott. He was in the United States Navy during the Vietnam Era. George married Betty Smith on February 15, 1964; she preceded him in death in 1983. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and his friends at the neighborhood tavern. He married Marty, they later divorced, then he married Lynn, they later divorced.

George passed away on Thursday, February 8, 2024, at his home at the age of 79. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife; son, Terry Westcott and a sister, Mary Westcott.

George is survived by his son, Gary Westcott of Waucoma, Iowa; a daughter, Kay King of Columbia, Missouri; two grandchildren, Corey, and Tommy King; a sister, Susan Collins of Colorado and nephew, Tony Collins.

A private burial will be held at the Garden of Memories.

There will be a Celebration of Life will be on Saturday, February 17, 2024, from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm at the Park Road Inn, 306 Park Rd., Waterloo, IA  50703.
