Gloria Davis of Allison, Iowa, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 10, 2026, at the Allison Rehabilitation Center in Allison, IA. She was 80 years old. Born on July 6, 1945, in Waterloo, Iowa, Gloria lived a life marked by love and dedication to her family and community.

Gloria was the proud mother of one son, Timothy Lagel, who passed away in 2022. Though Timothy is no longer with us, Gloria’s memory lives on through her cherished grandchildren and loved ones who were a significant part of her life.

She is survived by two beloved granddaughters: Ashley Lagel of Waterloo, IA, and Tori Bertelsen Romero of Cedar Rapids, IA. Gloria also leaves behind her daughter-in-law, Karen Lagel of Cedar Falls, IA, along with numerous family members and friends who held her dear.

A visitation to honor Gloria’s memory will be held on Friday, April 17, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Parrott & Wood Chapel Of Memories, located at 965 Home Plaza, Waterloo, IA 50701. Following the visitation, a memorial service will commence at 12:00 p.m. at the same location.

Gloria Davis will be remembered for her warmth, strength, and the profound impact she had on those around her. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by her family and friends.
