Joyce Ella Warm

Joyce Warm passed away peacefully, on Sunday, September 24, 2023, while on Hospice. Joyce was a resident of Prairie Wind in Cedar Falls, Iowa and a former resident of Buck Ridge, Cedar Falls; Port Orange, Florida; Morgan, Vermont; and Daytona Beach, Florida. She easily made friends wherever she lived. Joyce was 88 years old.

Joyce Viktora Warm was born in Belle Plaine, Iowa, daughter of Charles and Ella (Kouba) Viktora, but her family moved to a farm outside nearby Chelsea when she was 7. She graduated from Chelsea High, where she played basketball. Joyce married Ivan Warm and they had three children together. In addition to living in many places, Joyce traveled extensively and spent many summers at their cabin on Holiday Lake in Iowa. She taught ceramics for several years and loved nature, gardening, and animals; especially her dogs.

Joyce Warm is survived by two great-grandchildren, five grandchildren, and two of her children: Gary Warm and Cindy Warm; and her sister, Karilyn Todd.
