Marilyn Jean Pratt

Marilyn Jean Pratt was born October 19, 1930, in Randalia, Iowa, daughter of Francis and Lucille (Feemster) Reese. She married Robert Lee Pratt in 1950, and they were happily married for 68 years; he preceded her in death in 2018. Marilyn was a loving wife and a very caring mother. She was a mail carrier with the United States Postal Service for many years. Marilyn enjoyed retirement, playing golf and flyfishing in Minnesota and Iowa. She moved to Fairfield Bay, Arkansas in 2023, to live with her son, Robert.

Marilyn passed away on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at her home. At the age of 95. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband and several of her siblings. Marilyn is survived by her son, Robert, of Fairfield Bay; a granddaughter; two great-grandchildren, a brother, David Reese of Illinois and two sisters, Barb (Bill) Schriever of Cedar Rapids and Par Smejkal of Kentucky.
