Pamela Sue Bottorff

Pamela “Pam” Sue Bottorff was born on May 7, 1946, in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of Franklin and Cora (Hotle) Roth.  Pam grew up in Cedar Rapids and graduated from Washington High School in 1964.  She then attended UNI and received a bachelor’s degree in education. On December 23, 1967, Pam was united in marriage to Bruce Bottorff.  She worked for Waterloo Schools and then AEA 267 for the Dike New Hartford School system until her retirement in 2009.  Pam was a member of Unity Presbyterian Church in Waterloo.  She enjoyed quilting, gardening, cooking, and helping with her grandkids.  Pam died at the age of 77 on October 27, 2023, at UnityPoint Allen Hospital in Waterloo.  She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.  Pam is survived by 2 sons, Aaron (Christine) Bottorff of Nashua and Eric (Rebecca) Bottorff of Hampton; 6 grandchildren; and 2 sisters, Donna (Bob) Adams of Denver, Colorado and Jill (Craig) Ones of Omaha, Nebraska.  There will be a memorial service for Pam on Saturday, November 4, 2023, at Unity Presbyterian Church at 1:00 PM.  Please direct memorials to Unity Presbyterian Church.
