November 4, 1949 – March 20, 2026
Renae Jean Warner, age 76 of Aplington, Iowa, was born the daughter of Eugene Richard and Berneita Jean (Wilkes) Aldrich, on November 4, 1949, in Waterloo, Iowa. Renae graduated from East High School in Waterloo.
On July 24, 1976, Renae was united in marriage with Chris Fredrick Warner in Waterloo.
Renae was employed at John Deere in Waterloo for 30 years where she met the love of her life, she retired in 2002.
In her younger years she enjoyed going to the Mississippi River in Wisconsin on the weekends, fishing, boating and spending time on the beach with friends and family.
After her retirement she enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Renae loved to work out in the yard with her flowers and plants, crocheting blankets for her family, working the word find puzzles and watching her favorite shows on TV.
Renae passed away Friday, March 20, 2026, at Allen Hospital in Waterloo. A memorial service will be held April 11, 2026, 10am at Bethal Lutheran Church in Parkersburg IA with visitation will be 5pm-7pm April 10, 2026 and one hour prior to the service.
Renae was preceded in death by her husband Chris Fredrick Warner, her parents, Eugene and Berneita Aldrich, her in-laws, Olga Warner, Gayle and Marilyn Warner, a brother Gerald (Gary) Aldrich, a sister in-law Bernie Aldrich, a sister in-law Vanessa Back, a brother in-law Pat Back, a son in-law Reece Bixby and a niece Heather Aldrich.
Renae is survived by her daughter Angie Bixby-Ellermann (Aaron), son Chad Warner, grandchildren Ryan (Allie) Bixby, Alexander (Monica) Bixby, Riley (Hunter) Beachler, Christopher Warner and Delaney Warner, great-grandkids, Holland, August, Aria, Hadley and Reece Bixby, Huxley, Berkley and Lakeleigh Beachler, brothers Craig (Brenda) Aldrich and Rodger (Sharon) Aldrich, a brother in-law John (Penny) Warner, and many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank Maple Manor in Aplington for the excellent care where they treated her like family over the last few years. We would also like to thank Allen Hospital Hospice for keeping her comfortable and showing us so much compassion.
