Their three oldest children are current or former students at the University of Iowa, while Griffin attends William Penn University, where he also plays basketball. Shannon values every opportunity to support her children, whether cheering from the sidelines or traveling together as a family.
In addition to her professional role, Shannon is deeply involved in her community. She leads a local volleyball club, volunteers in Waterloo elementary schools, and enjoys supporting her sons’ basketball activities.
