Meet our staff, members of the local community who make everything that happens possible.
Christine Erie
Christine started with Overton Funeral Homes and Parrott & Wood Chapel of Memories in 2003. She was raised in Waterloo. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and attended Worsham College of Mortuary Science. In 2017, Christine pursued other ventures, but in 2020, returned to where she got her start and to the friends and neighbors she served for many years. Christine and her husband Greg are lifelong residents of Waterloo, and are members of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. They have one child, Henry, who attends Columbus High School. She is very active in the community and a huge supporter of her son’s sporting events.
Shannon Frost
Shannon Frost started with Overton Funeral Homes and Parrott & Wood Chapel of Memories in April of 2022. Shannon is from Cedar Falls and currently enrolled in the Mortuary Science Program at DMACC. Shannon and her husband, Troy, live in Cedar Falls, and have four children, Jackson, Grace, Piper, and Griffin, with the three oldest either attending or attended the University of Iowa. Their youngest attends CFHS. Shannon runs a local volleyball club in her spare time and loves spending time with her family, traveling, and spoiling her puppy, Koda.
